SAUBLE BEACH - VISIT SAUBLE BEACH

Welcome to Sauble Beach - voted "number 1 beach in Ontario" by Toronto Star readers and "one of Canada's top 10 beaches" by readers of Macleans magazine. Sauble beach is located less than 3 hours north of Toronto on the beautiful shores of Lake Huron.

THE SECRET IS OUT! VISITORS ARE MAKING SAUBLE BEACH THEIR DESTINATON OF CHOICE!

The Lake Huron shoreline of Sauble Beach is where you will find 11km's of the softest sand and most pristine waters in Ontario. Sound like paradise? While the beach is the main attraction for many visitors, there are plenty of activities as well as a vibrant commercial shopping sector. As evening falls, Sauble Beach offers perfect views of the world's most spectacular sunsets over Lake Huron. Star Gazing in Sauble Beach is an astronomer's dream come true. The lack of urban lighting allow for amazing views of the heavens.

The beautiful sand dunes of Sauble Beach are part of an ecosystem that has evolved over 1000's of years. The dunes provide natural shore protection, and are home to many rare and unique plants & grasses. Please respect our beach and use the boardwalks to protect the dunes and plant life.

Recreational activities include Biking - Boating & Boat Launches - Fishing - Hiking - Adventure Rentals & Tours - Golfing - Canoeing & Kayaking - Skiing - Snowmobiling, an annual winterfest and an annual sandcastle contest. The Canadian National (Beach) Volleyball Championships have been held there and the local Steelback Sauble Speedway is on the NASCAR professional racing circuit. The Sauble Beach area is one of Ontario's favourite retirement destinations as well as a popular destination among young people for their annual May 2-4 campsite revelries.
