Sauble Beach Sandfest
& Classic Car Show

The festival will run from August 7, 8, 9 2009

The Sandfest event has been Sauble Beach’s Signature event for the past 10 years. Sauble Beach is the number one tourist attraction in Bruce County. Recently, Sauble Beach was voted as one of Canada's top ten beach destinations!

Sandfest will run for 3 days and have a kick off dance on the Friday night with a live performance by the Denis Rideout Band with special guest. The dance will be from 7:00pm until 10:30pm.

On Saturday & Sunday, the festival will have Beach Volleyball and Bocce Ball tournaments along with the very popular Classic Car Show. The Family Bocce Ball Tournament is open to all ages and no skill is required just a little luck. Entry fee is $10.00 per player.

The main stage on Saturday will feature a tribute to the 50’s and 60’s with Sandy Vine and the Midnights at 12:00 noon.

The headliner act , Canada’s number one tribute to the Beatles, The Caveners, will perform at 2:45pm.

On Sunday August 9th, we will have the Kids Kites and Castles event with four live children’s shows featuring entertainer Dickie Bird and Feelin Good on the main stage. The event will also have kite flying and a family sandcastle building event.

The festival will have a 20x30 tent with a kid’s arts and craft and literacy tent. Portion of the proceeds from the event will go to Shoppers Drug Mart Charities and the New Women’s Shelter in Wiarton.
