Marketing Support:
Chamber members receive significant marketing support to attract tourists to the area and customers to your business.
- SaubleBeach.com – the website is one of the Chamber's primary marketing tools, attracting over 150,000 visitors from June - Sept. Members are featured prominently throughout the site, which is designed to inform visitors about all the wonderful things they can see and do at Sauble Beach.
- Events – for many years, the Chamber has organized and financed activities such as Canada Day Fireworks, Sandfest, volleyball tournaments and more to enhance Sauble Beach's natural attractions
and draw tourists to the area. In recent years, activities such as weekly street dances, family movie nights, lobster dinners, car clubs and music festivals have been added to provide even more reasons for tourists to visit our community and support your business.
- Tourist Info Centre – the Chamber operates the Info Centre to provide assistance to visitors. Businesses are encouraged to leave free brochures or business cards to inform tourists about your business.
- Advertising Discounts – members receive discounts on all advertisements in the Chamber newspaper (Bulletin) and receive exclusive advertising rights to the website (saublebeach.com) and the annual visitor's guide and map to promote your business and attract tourists. Members also receive 10 % off Shouldice Media website and video services.
- Personal Development and Networking – members are invited to participate in regular social events, information sessions and workshops presented by industry experts to help you hone your sales and
marketing skills.
A Collective Voice:
Perhaps most importantly, membership in the Sauble Beach Chamber of Commerce adds your voice to those of other businesses to form a strong collective on issues of concern with all levels of government – especially municipal leaders. Through regular meetings, surveys and polls, the Chamber actively solicits your input on the issues that matter the most to you.
